Cement Based Screed

The Product:

Becoming ever more popular M&S Flow Screeds cement based flow screed is a flowing screed based on a mixture of sand, 6mm aggregate, lime fillers, cement and chemical admixtures.

Our screeds are delivered to site premixed by nominated concrete suppliers under BS EN 13813 stringently controlled conditions ready to use.

Seen by many as the perfect replacement for your traditional sand and cement screed flow screed are by nature self levelling and provide a far superior finish for tilers and carpenters to work on.

Screed is placed using the normal process of setting levels to achieve the required depth.

The minimum thickness is 60mm for dwellings with radiators as their source of heating. Normal thickness would be in region of 75mm to 100mm.  

Cement based screed is available for supply throughout Galway, Sligo, Roscommon, Mayo, Leitrim, Offaly and Clare.

The Benefits:

Shrinkage: Fibres and chemicals within the mix form an effective control to drying shrinkage.  Movement joints are necessary.

Under floor heating: Absence of voids leads to better thermal conductivity than traditional sand and cement screeds.

Reduced risk of damage: no wheelbarrows pumped into place.

Productivity:     Average pouring between 500 --- 1000m2 per day.

Self levelling: excellent surface finish.
